Come join the Bealsville family as we celebrate the rich legacy of our community! There’s always something going on at the Bealsville Recreation Center. Join the revival of fun, recreation and good times. Spread the word. Residents of Bealsville are meeting monthly to plan and organize ongoing events, and activities. Stop by Glover School and check the calendar. Take an interest in what’s going on in Bealsville.

PROGRAMS, EVENTS AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

The residents along with local foundation and/business support provides funding for many needed services to the community. Mini grants have also been awarded through Hillsborough County Office of Neighborhood Relations and local Sheriff’s Office. Glover School currently hosts a number of programs to include a technology center offering free computer classes, free WI-FI extending throughout the campus, YLM mentoring at-risk girls, Bealsville Eagles Youth Football & Cheerleading Program, senior citizens nutrition program, civic group meeting rooms, and an auditorium equipped with kitchen, and stage.

GLOVER SCHOOL RESTORATIONS

Most recently two restoration grants were awarded to Bealsville Incorporated for restoration of Glover School totaling $800,000.00 ($423,000.00 in 2007 and $325,000 in 2005). There are long term plans to completely renovate the Glover School, providing to the Community, a childcare center, emergency shelter and the Bealsville Community Historical Museum which will house artifacts and historical documents of this community’s rich past.
